Competency Over Credentials
That is our mantra for a reason. Sure, having a fancy degree and attending the most prestigious college is nice. But it’s not necessary, nor does it prove you are good at your job.
If there’s anything we’ve learned from the Covid-19 debacle, it’s that the approved experts don’t have a clue what they’re doing. In fact, most of the time they are simply taking marching orders from above (government, Big Pharma, Academia, etc.).
If you care about helping people live a healthy life and are good at what you do, we want you to write for Renegade Health Magazine. We are open to subject-matter-experts in any field of health whether it be medicine, fitness, relationships, or whatever.
If you think your area of expertise fits that description, reach out to us.
Become Independently Healthy
The goal of this magazine is to help people become healthy outside of the mainstream/establishment channels. The average person is smarter than most doctors or public health officials give them credit for. Our goal is to help that average person improve their health and improve their life.
If you work for Big Pharma, government, or academia, it doesn’t mean you’re barred from contributing. There are plenty of people out there who provide valuable health information from inside the bubble.
Don’t come to use spewing information from the CDC/WHO/Mayo website. That’s not what we’re looking for.
Make Hospitals Obsolete
As the old saying goes, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
The main focus of this magazine is on lifestyle changes and interventions people can make to improve their health. It’s unlikely we will publish an article about appropriate ventilator settings for intubated neonates. That just doesn’t apply to the average person and there are better outlets for that type of information.
That said, if you think you can make your area of expertise fit, feel free to reach out. We can probably find a creative way to make it work.
Feel free to ask in the comments below as well.
The Rules
Writing for Renegade Health Magazine is pretty straightforward. We have all the rules and submission information on our website, RenegadeHealthMagazine.com
Your article may be edited for grammar, flow, and spacing so that it fits in our format better. However, we try to keep the spirit and voice of each article as best we can. If there are any significant changes we will try to communicate those with you beforehand.
Articles should be at least 600 words and a maximum of 4000 words, although those are loose limits. Feel free to ask us if you have specific questions.
Any images you wish to include must be public use. If there is any question, we will remove the images and replace them with a public use image or an image of our own.
If you are a content creator and wish to use an article you’ve previously written, reach out to us. We prefer original articles but alternatives can be discussed. The same goes for republishing your article on your own website/media. Please discuss that with us beforehand, and at a minimum we request you give the magazine a shout out.
We are a quarterly magazine. There are 30 very dense articles per issue. If everyone submits their article 1 week before the publication deadline, it won’t get done in time. We generally ask that you have your article submitted to us at least 4 weeks prior to the publication date. They are as follows:
Spring - March 1st
Summer - June 1st
Fall - September 1st
Winter - December 1st
Finally, you don’t need to be a professional writer. If you’re worried your grammar is poor, your writing style if off-putting, or whatever, reach out to us. We can help you clean the article up, improve the flow, or whatever needs to be done to help spread valuable health information. We only request that you submit your article long earlier than the deadline to allow for more time to make edits.
If you are interested in submitting an article, or know someone who is interested, feel free to reach out to us. You can contact us through the website, comment on this page, or on our Twitter account (@RenHealthMag).
I met a genius chiro/massage therapist in Bariloche who fixed my gfs posture (and mine)--permanently. And made other chiros look like lame-os who can't do anything. (Most of my friends family have the (unfair) opinion "chiros make things worse") He's Eastern-med oriented, has 26 yrs of exp actually working on peoples bodies and I + others would describe him as a true healer.... Sound like a good fit? I would whatsapp him about contributing.
Thank you for your extremely good health magazine. My reason for purchasing Renegade Health is because of the quality of the articles. My experience comes from suffering a serious allergic reaction to medication that I was secretly administered, and should never have been given, and regardless of the evidence that was just covered up and I have left to find my own way back to good health and almost 20 years later I am ready to talk to help people understand. I now know a few things now, for example one must be very aware of the risks of any medical intervention, most are not reversible, for example the Covid Vaccine, which I did not take for obvious reasons, and surgical mesh which I was forced to receive against my better judgement. Honest education is the most efficient method to bring about corrective change, thank you for your great work.
